The fall 2021 community conversations explored and expanded on the core themes of the Canada Council for the Arts’ 2021–26 strategic plan: Art, now more than ever.
To allow the Council to hear from individuals in the arts sector facing diverse realities, we hosted two 90-minute conversations on Tuesday, November 30, and on Wednesday, December 1, 2021.
These virtual sessions were an invitation to exchange ideas and proposals to move forward together towards a sustainable recovery and rebuilding of the sector. The same three key themes of innovation, equity and partnership were addressed during both sessions.
We enjoyed collaborating with every one of you on the implementation of the 2021–26 strategic plan, including exploring and expanding on the perspectives outlined within Art, now more than ever.
We were pleased to be able to work together towards a strengthened arts sector.
To respect public health directives related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the sessions were conducted online.
